Best friends Junie and Dot have left their husbands and children behind and embarked on an adventure, following a map left to Junie by her free-spirited mother Doris, who passed away one year ago. Reluctantly dutiful, Junie struggles with her unresolved frustration at Doris’ perpetual attempts (even reaching beyond the grave) to mold her staid and steady daughter into something more like the effervescent Dot. Upon stumbling on their destination, the women encounter something unexpected…Doris’ dragon, who has a task for Junie, as well as a final message from her mother.
