Masks
In header above: “The Seven Ages of Man,” a commission inspired by Jaques’ “All the World’s a Stage” monologue in Shakespeare’s “As You Like It.”
Wendy stumbled into the craft of mask making while studying at the Dell ‘Arte School of Physical theatre in 1995. From 1998-2014, Wendy ran “Arlecchina’s Masks” selling her work to collectors, performers, directors, theatres, and educators around the world. Many of the masks pictured here were custom made for a specific performance and specific actors. She incorporated her own masks into her solo show, The Divine Madness of Isabella, performed multiple times in Los Angeles.
