The Monster Under the Bed

“Winnie, Winnie, Winnie. I make sure you don’t lie to yourself. Lie to your husband, lie to your mom, lie to me if you can … but not to yourself.”

Winnie, 45, has returned alone to her childhood home to figure out how to save her marriage. Sensing Winnie’s inability to manage this problem on her own, the Monster under her bed returns to Winnie’s bedroom as well, fully prepared to execute her functions as Chief Scarer.  Facing off with her childhood terror, Winnie finally realizes her marriage’s only hope involves complete honesty and sticking to her guns, hoping that will be enough, now knowing she’ll be able to live with herself if it isn’t.
